    I bought a Mr Coffee maker and it started leaking. I called customer service and was told to fax receipt. I did, and each time I called to check on status, I was told I needed to refax for one reason or another. Any reason not to send another coffee maker. Pretty sad!

    This past weekend I purchased a Mr. Coffee 12 cup Programmable coffeemaker (BVMC-SJX36GTWM). On the side of the box it states this coffeemaker is designed to work with the Mr. Coffeemaker I purchased. I would very much like to purchase this thermal version. The number I am looking for is: DRD95. My wife and I spent a good part of today calling/visiting every big box store in the San Antonio, TX area with NO SUCCESS! The store we purchased our coffeemaker stated they DO NOT CARRY THIS ITEM, However they do carry a large selection of Mr. Coffee Coffeemakers. Likewise, a check of your various web sites do nor even show the coffeemaker. Can you please assist me in this matter.... We really love the coffeemaker and the Thermal Decanter would be the icing on the cake. Thank you.

    I recently purchased a Mr Coffee maker.Im very unahappy about a few things one being that the paint is chipping of the burner and the maker takes a very long time to brew and needs cleaned way to often. I only use filtered water so I shouldnt have to clean it every week. The look of the maker is great I just wish it worked better, I will think twice before buying a Mr Coffee maker again or recomend it to any family or friends.

    Mr. Coffee's black paint on heating element

    I see where others have complained that the black paint comes off the heating element. It may or may not be a health hazard but thought you should be made aware of the problem, but you already are. From reading other comments, I guess Mr. Coffee is not the product that it used to be. I'll just keep using paper towels to clean up the ugly mess. HJD

    replacement of coffee machine

    I called because the black surface paint has worn off the hot plate. The carafe is directly on a metal surface and this is wearing down the glass of the carafe. Not to mention the fire hazard this could be. I was told this is NOT a fire hazard and was offered a replacement machine at 15%off. This is because my machine is out of warranty. I find this 'resolution' not satisfactory and, as soon as I find another manufacturer of coffee makers, I WILL be buying that brand. Mr. Coffee has lost my business.

    I called the number listed. After a few automated navigation prompts I was quickly directed to a service rep. I explained that my coffee maker that was given to me as a gift had died (after only 6 month). I shared I had gone to the Mrcoffee web site but none of the suggestions solved my problem. With no questions asked the rep quickly took my information and they are sending me a new one! I did not expect that. They also are sending me pre-paid postage to send them the old one back. The whole call took about 4 minutes. I was very satisfied and never expected them to respond so quickly with a replacement. They have a customer for life in me now, for sure.

    I have a mr coffee maker and it works just fine, but like any other chinese made product these days its inevitable they are not made like they used to be. You could also go out and buy a multi hundred dollar machine, but I imagine that isn't what you got.

    I have been buying Mr. Coffee makers for as long as I can remember. I have had very good Mr. coffee makers however the last 3 I have bought have burned out after less than a year. I almost bought a different brand this time but I thought I would give it one more try. I bought the cheapest 12 cup model in July. It does not even shut off on its own which I did not notice when I bought it. All of my other Mr. Coffee makers have been top of the line models. Since this was going to be my last Mr. Coffee & bought the cheap one. I do not have the box anymore & the store will not take it back. The heating element does not get hot & the same thing happened with the last 3. I now need to get another coffee maker. I have to microwave the coffee after its brewed. This is just unacceptable. If you cannot help me with this I will be buying another brand name coffee maker. I am a widow on a fixed income & cannot afford to replace my coffee maker twice a year. I liked the last model that did turn off by itself & had a timer on it until it stopped heating less than 6 months after I purchased it.. The model I bought this last time is Mr. Coffee 12 cup Sunbeam model #DW12 920 watts. Will you replace this or send me a good coupon to purchase the better one so I don't have to switch coffee maker brands? Thank you for your time.

    Bought a Mr. Coffee about 6 mts ago. It just stopped working. The hot plate does not stay hot, infact it won't get hot, and it does not let the water into the coffee pot. I sent email last wk to no avail, no answer. I am hoping that I can get a resopnse soon. Thank-you Cheryl :)

    I am a consumer of the Jarden Inc. company better known for their well built reliable Mr. Coffee, coffee makers. I had some trouble with my machine and it was a little under a year old. I contacted Jarden Inc VIA e-mail given on there webpage. Jarden Inc first tried to help me solve the issue, once we quickly realized it was not a fix I could do at home. Unfortunately the model I have is no longer in production. Jarden Inc had no hesitation to offer me the very nearest machine to the one I have free of charge including shipping. There are some questions you will have to answer just so they know it is their product and how old it is but other than that they are a great company to work with. Speedy, reliable, and honest. We rarely find that theses days in the super competitive world we live in today, but, I think when we do come across the ones that are few and far between we should give them their due respects. We don't hesitate to file a complaint so we shouldn't hesitate to give praise either.

    I emailed customer service with a very simple question. What I have discovered is they don't read the emails. The first email said they would get back to me within 2 or 3 days. I answered that email and they pushed a button and I got the same answer as the first time. I answered again and again they pushed the button with word for word the same answer. So I am telling you, forget I even asked anything it isn't worth it. I do not like automatic answers! DO NOT EMAIL ME AGAIN.
